Board rules

This page is designed to explain your responsibilities as a member of our forum. By following these rules, we ensure that our board runs smoothly and without problems. If you have any question regarding these rules, do not hesitate to contact a staff member with your question.

  1. Global Rules

    1. (These rules are in effect on our Teamspeak and our website.)
    2. Personal Information & Respect

      Personal Information:
      Never under any circumstances are you permitted to use the personal information of another person, be it your own, or someone else's. This includes the text, voice, private messages, or any other communication service we provide to our clients. It does NOT matter if you are sending the information to it's respective owner, or if it is common knowledge, it still goes against this rule. "Personally identifiable information" (PII), as used in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.

      We at Lugor Gaming encourage growth and progress, and as supporters of such, we will not tolerate any defamation of character. Harassment will also not be tolerated.

      Respect Our Site:
      We do not encourage, nor allow the mentioning of torrents, or posting of links to and or relating to torrents. As such, we reserve the right to delete any and all posts, shouts, private messages, or any other form of communication mentioning torrents. Continuous posting of the aforementioned material could warrant other forms of punishment as we see fit.

      Religious & Racial Tolerance:
      We are accepting of all walks of life. Whether you believe in a singular God or Gods, it should not be something to start a fight over. In all topics or conversations regarding religion we ask that you tread lightly. We reserve the right to remove any post that we feel will offend a particular religious or non-religious group. We also believe that neither skin color, nor birthplace dictate a person's character. We will not tolerate any racial slurs. Be kind and courteous.
    3. Sexually Explicit Material

      Adult Content:
      Any pictures or videos that show 18+ content are strictly prohibited and will be open to severe admin response. Adult content is described as being anything that depicts any form of nudity, sexual situations, or graphic material. Only one warning shall be given for this rule. If you find someone to be in violation of this rule, log the user, the content in question, date, time, and notify a staff member.

      Adult content is allowed to be posted in 18+ boards, illegal content (as defined by site administrators) is still disallowed.
    4. Spamming & Double Posting

      Posts that would be considered spam are posts that are repetitive in nature, or add nothing to a discussion.

      Double Posting:
      Double posting is not be allowed. If a thought comes to you, just edit your original post. Double posting, in our eyes, is a post made directly after another one by the same user.
  2. Server Rules

    1. Laming

      PvE Laming
      Laming is not allowed on PvE maps or in specified Safe Zones. This rule is nullified if the clients agree to fight each other or are not complaining about the laming there is no cause to action. If you fail to comply with this rule, you will be warned and then banned after repeat offenses.

      PvP Laming
      PvP Laming is allowed on all areas of the map.

      Spawn Raping
      Spawn raping, is specifically camping the spawn are or teleporter from spawn to kill clients. Spawn raping is completely disallowed and the boundaries of spawn are defined by the highest current admin. Failure to comply with this rule is taken very seriously and may have consequences up to and including a temporary ban

      Targeted Laming
      Targeted laming is defined as following a specified client or clients and continually laming them without their approval, this behavior will not be tolerated and may have consequences up to and including a temporary ban
    2. Spamming/Advertising

      There is no spamming of any kind. Spamming binds, foul language, or nonsense will not be allowed and will result in a mute. Evading a mute will result in a ban.

      There is no advertising allowed. Spamming IP's or recruitment binds is prohibited and will result in a mute. Failure to cease advertising will result in a ban.
    3. Harassment/Disrespect

      There is no harassment allowed. This includes harsh racism, language, taunting towards another player. Failure to abide to this rule will result in a temporary ban.

      Bullying is not allowed. This includes making fun of race, gender, weight, age, etc. Failure to abide to this rule will result in a temporary ban.
    4. Depopulation

      Depopulating the sever is strictly prohibited. It is not fair the clients or us. Failure to abide by this rule will result in a permanent ban on the first offense.
    5. Exploitation

      If you come across a server, and or map exploit, report it or an admin to be fixed. If you are found to be exploiting, you will be issued a temporary ban. Failure to comply will result in a permanent ban.
  3. Mini-Chat Rules

    1. Spamming in Mini-Chat

      Spamming in the Mini-Chat will not be tolerated, any spam posts will be deleted. Repeat offenders could find themselves banned from Mini-Chat.
    2. Posting Images & Videos

      Spoiler Codes:
      When posting an image or video in the Mini-Chat, always place the material in spoiler tags. This is the code for them:

  4. Teamspeak Rules

    1. Spamming & Noise Pollution

      Spamming counts as sending chat messages, pokes, and or whispers rapidly or repeatedly. One warning will be issued for spamming, any offense beyond that will result in a temporary ban from Teamspeak.

      Noise Pollution:
      Noise Pollution is categorized as excessive amounts of noise. This can be done in a multitude of ways, but we consider the following to be Noise Pollution: Playing sounds through your microphone, Causing unnecessary background noise with a device or object, or yelling in excess. We will not tolerate this behavior and any offenders may be banned from Teamspeak.
    2. Avatars

      As a show of good faith, we allow our clients to have avatars on Teamspeak. This is a privilege and we reserve the right to remove your avatar at any time, for any reason. If you continuously set an inappropriate, or offensive image as your avatar, we will dismiss your ability to set an avatar.
